HEALTHY COMMUNITIES
We must keep our community hospital open and providing services to Scott County.
We must ensure greater access to mental health services, I believe mental health and or behavioral health is the next medical crisis facing our state. Providing mental health services in our schools will contribute to student well being leading to a safer and better learning environment for both students and teachers. Supporting our schools with mental / behavioral health professionals, school resource officers will allow our teachers to focus on teaching our children resulting in better outcomes for all.
PROMOTING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Scott County is a hub for ground, rail and river transportation. Our prime location and access to these resources provide great potential for job development and growth. We must complete the I-57 project and strengthen our support for port access along the Mississippi River. A strong regional economy will strengthen our families, schools and quality of life.
Agriculture has historically been the backbone of our area's economy. Small businesses keep our Main Streets going but unnecessary and restrictive regulations are making our family farms and small businesses slowly disappear. Protecting these resources will produce stronger communities. Lowering taxes will keep the doors on Main Street open.
PUBLIC SAFETY
I have always supported the men and women who serve and protect our communities. Salaries and benefit packages have to be competitive with our surrounding counties to keep and attract qualified law enforcement professionals.
ON A BROADER SCALE

I will defend the Second Amendment and all of our Amendments, even the unpopular ones. This is the foundation of The Rule of Law—The Rule of Law is fundamental for maintaining a civilized society. Businesses looking to locate in our area want healthy and safe communities.

I will fight to secure our borders excluding criminals and violent individuals looking to bring their way of life to our communities.

I have received the endorsement of Missouri Right to Life. I will work to protect the right to life of not only the unborn, disabled and elderly but a life for children placed into our foster care system. Those who welcome these children into their homes and life deserve our prayers and support.

About David
David Dolan has worked hard in the field of law. His extensive experience illustrates his desire to serve the community as well as maintain the high standards that people expect of their government leaders. As Scott County Prosecuting Attorney, David Dolan made sure that those who were in our Country illegally and committed crimes were convicted, punished and deported. He kept our community safe by sending murderers, rapists and child abusers to prison.
Since 2008, David has served on the Missouri Supreme Court Legislative Committee working with senators and representatives across the state to make Missouri laws work for you.
Commited to Agriculture
David and wife, Julie, along with their friends and partners, have operated a row crop farm in Sikeston and a hay operation near Morely.
A major asset of our region is the availability of good, clean water which David will work to protect.
